If you love chocolate, the tour is a must do. So many people who live in Seattle don’t know about this fun experience. When you do the tour, you get a discount in their factory store! Go on your own, with friends, or take out of town visitors! You can’t go wrong. It took me back to picking fresh mint as a kid from the yard. They use real mint, not artificial flavoring, in their mint confections. Don’t miss their handmade confections (like a truffle) filled with rich ganache and incredible fresh flavors.
The best part - if you love chocolate - is the extensive tasting experience! Theo’s forte is dark chocolate and they combine it with a variety of interesting flavors like mint, raspberry, sea salt. You also get a chance to see inside the factory and all the machinery.

The tour starts with a little background of the cacao beans and how they grow and are processed, plus how dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate are made.

Parking can be a challenge (although their registration emails warn you) so go early. At the time of this review, the cost is $12 per person and worth every penny.
